Aavot is still in development, so this page describes what the app is being built to do rather than a shipped feature list. We’ll keep it honest and update it as things firm up. Nothing here requires sideloading, an APK, or switching off an Android safety setting.
Light on your phone
A small install size and a low memory footprint, tuned for mid-range Android. The aim is that Aavot feels instant on the phones most people actually own — not just the newest ones — and that it’s careful with your mobile data on 4G.
Private by design
The fewest permissions we can ask for, each explained in plain language at the point we ask. No hidden trackers, no selling your information, and no permissions requested “just in case”. You’ll always be able to see what Aavot can and can’t access.
Works when your signal doesn’t
Core functions are being built to work offline or on a weak connection, because real-world mobile use isn’t five bars of Wi-Fi. Where something genuinely needs the network, it’ll fail gracefully rather than breaking.
Safe, official updates
Distribution and updates through Google Play and the App Store only. That means every update is signed and verifiably from us — the opposite of chasing a “latest version APK” around the web.
No dark patterns
No fake countdowns, no nagging, no tricks to inflate engagement. If a feature isn’t ready, we won’t pretend it is. This site itself — telling you plainly that the app isn’t out — is the standard we intend to hold the app to.
